干しいも

普段あまり食べないものも送られてくる生協の産直ボックスに、パープルスィートという品種のきれいな紫色の芋が４本も入っていました。早速ふかして１本は角切りにしてホットケーキに入れて食べましたが、残り３本をどうしようかと思っていたところ、本屋さんで初めて買った天然生活 2009年 02月号 [雑誌] に干しいもの作り方が載っていて、挑戦してみました。あと５日ほどで美味しい干しいもが出来て、冬休み中はこれを食べながらテレビ三昧といきたいところです。
A kind of potato purplesweet was in the vegetable box which contains vegies for which I have no choice of selection. Soon I steamed all four of it and I cut one of them into an inch dice and put it in pancakes. I wondered what I should do with the remaining three, and decided to make dried potatos. I found how to make them in the magazine I bought lately. Five days later, I am supposed to eat yummy dried potatoes, watching TV during my lazy winter holidays.

クリスマスカード

今年もクリスマスカードを書く季節になりました。せっせと、お客さま一人一人に心を込めて書いています。今年は買ったばかりの万年筆の感触を楽しみながら・・・

銀杏の木

今年は紅葉の色づき具合がイマイチかなあ、と思っていたのですが、銀杏は綺麗な黄色に色づいています。写真は公団住宅の敷地内にある銀杏。お掃除のおばさんには申し訳ないけど、黄色いじゅうたんの上を歩くのが楽しい。
I thought autumn color of trees this year was not as beautiful as other years, but ginkgotree is beautifully yellowed. The picture shows ginkgotrees in the ground of our condo. I am sorry for cleaning ladies, but it's so much fun to walk on the yellow carpet.
