女性のためのウコン Ukon for Women

いままでちゃんぷるー・どっとこむでご愛顧いただいていたスーパーウコンの製造・販売が終了しました。がび～ん！一瞬ショックだったのですが、代わりに女性のためのウコンを紹介してもらい、販売することになりました。味はスーパーウコンと変わりなく、小さく飲みやすくなっています。その上、女性に嬉しいビタミンＣ、コラーゲン入り。もちろん、男性の皆さまにもスーパーウコン同様ご利用頂けます。
Kanehide Bio, product manufacturer, decided to stop produce and sell Superukon, champroo.comhas sold well for a long time. I was shocked, of course, but they introduced good alternative, Ukon for Women. I decided to start selling it because it tasted almost the same as Superukon, though much smaller that we can swallow it more easily. Moreover, vitamin C and collagen are added, which is a good news for wemen. Of course, men can take it as they did Superukon.

干し芋 Drying Sweet Potatoes

さつま芋を大量に買ってしまったので、干し芋作りに挑戦。去年は生の芋をスライスして干して、硬くて食べられませんでした（涙）。干す前に蒸さなくてはいけないってことを知らなかったんですねえ。。。今年は蒸して、再挑戦です！
As I bought a bunch of sweet potatoes, I tried to make dried sweet potatoes. I dried them last year in vain because I didn't know I should team them first before drying. Dried potatoes were so hard that nobody could eat. I tried again this time, surely steamed them first.

タンカン Citrus Tankan

今年も正月早々沖縄から送られてきました、タンカン！みずみずしくてジューシーで、食べると元気になります。東京の寒さに負けないぞ！
As in every January, our relative sent us a box of Tankan from Okinawa. It's so fresh and juicy that I feel refreshed whenever I eat it. And I say, "I will not let this cold in Tokyo get me down!"

お正月 New Year's Day

今年のお正月は首里の実家で迎えました。１０時から首里城で開催されている「新春の宴」を見物。久しぶりの首里城は改修工事が入るほど古ぼけて、いい感じになっていました。儀式も、音楽が豪華になって見ごたえが増していました。

We started a New Year's day at my mother's house in Shuri, an ancient capital of the Ryukyu kingdom. We watched restored ceremony at a castle of Shuri, also rebuilt in 1992. The castle looked better now with ancient atmosphere. The ceremony was also better with more glorious music, though I am not sure if it's closer to the original.

儀式の後は、お城から那覇の町を一望。海も見渡せて、心も晴れ晴れ。

After watching the ceremony, we enjoyed a view of Naha city from the castle. We felt refreshed to see the ocean from there.

お城からの帰り道、実家近くにある組踊りの創始者玉城朝薫の碑を見学。住んでいる時は、こんな立派な人の立派な碑があるとは知りませんでした。

On the way home, we visited a monument of Chokun Tamaki who started Kumiodori, Okinawan musical drama. I didn't know there is such a glorious monument of such historical

person in my neighborhood when I lived in Shuri.
