We felled goya, bitter gourd, in tears...
As it still had quite a few fruits, I hoped to keep it as long as possible, but we have to prepare and start for winter vegitables now. When I felled goya, I harvested 31 baby goyas. They tasted good when I fryed them as goya chips. Even if they are so small, they turn to yellow when they are left for two days. So I put some in fried rice for breakfast. I even suggested to put some in miso soup with deep fryed tofu, but my family make an objection.

Ah, congratulations, you got some goya! You've inspired me with my 2nd attempt to grow goya... Not even flowers yet, although it's in a very sunny place, but I'm off out now to get some fertiliser... Wish me luck...
Hi, Alison,
I wish you good luck.
I failed for two consecutive years when I tried to grow goya at our balcony. Then we rent a small lot of land and finally succeeded. I know some people grow it very well at their balcony, but growing it in the field is easier for us. I don't know where and how you grow it, but enjoy it and please tell me how you eat it.
