本日の畑

葉っぱのミックスがすくすく育って、もう食べ頃。だけどご覧の通り、農薬を撒くなど虫除けの努力を一切していないので、虫食いだらけです。気持ち悪いなあ～って思ったけど、洗って炒めればスーパーの野菜よりずっと美味しい！虫の食べ残しを頂くというのも、謙虚な気持ちになれていいかも。

Mixed leaves are now ripe. As we see in the picture; however, worms have eaten them as much as they want because we didn't do anything to prevent them. I felt sick when I saw them, but when I washed clean and sauteed them, they tasted much better than what are sold at supermarket. It might be a good idea to eat worm-eaten leaves, feeling we eat worm's leftover leaves becuase we can be humble.

下の写真は落花生が発芽したところ。可愛いでしょ～！種を鳥に食べられないように、ペットボトルの上部でカバーしてあるのです。

The picture below shows peanut sprout. We put an upper part of plastic bottle to prevent birds from eating peanut seeds. Sprout looks so cute!

トマトも実をつけました！再来週あたりから収穫なるか？

We found first tomato fruit. I couldn't help thinking, "will we be able to get harvest about the week after next?"
