ひなまつり２００８

今年の３月３日は平日だったので、超手抜きひなまつり。はまぐりを調達できなかったため、スープはあさり。手まり寿司も、くぎ煮とサーモンの２種類だけ。それでも子供たちは喜んでくれました。手まり寿司を作るのはこの日だけなので、手まりになっていればOKみたい。

As March 3 was on a weekday this year, I cut corners for our Hinamatsuri dinner : I put little clam instead of common orient clam; I prepared only two kinds of filling for Temarizushi, simmered Ikanago (Japanese sand lance) and smoked sermon. But our kids were happy with them. It seems for them that it's okay as long as rice is in the shape of ball (temari).
