新しい職場 Newly Employed

メルマガにも書いた通り、５月２５日から某電機メーカーで翻訳の仕事をしています。仕事の内容自体は平凡ですが、久しぶりの会社員（派遣ですが）生活は新鮮！
先週金曜日は防災訓練がありました。「日本沈没」みたいな効果音と共に訓練開始のアナウンスが流れ、電気が全て消え、写真のようなヘルメットをかぶって１，３００名の社員がグラウンドに集合しました。１時間ほどの、私にとっては興味深いイベントでした。

As I wrote in my mail magazine I started working for a major manufacturer of electric appliances on May 25 as a translator. My job itself is not very exciting one, but working as an employee is new to me.
I attended a disaster drill on Friday last week. First start of the drill was announced with scary sound effect, all the lighting was turned off and 1,300 employees moved to the soccer ground, wearing a helmet in the picture. That was an-hour, interesting event for me.

何か新鮮。

The picture in the left shows a souvenir from China that a manager of the group I belong bought during his business trip. I took a picture of it because the package looks so Chinese. This is very refreshing because there has been no souvenir for SOHO worker.
